Easter and more

Today was Easter. We held an Easter egg hunt in our backyard on this beautiful sunny spring day. A few of Graham's friends & their parents came, hunted eggs, ate brunch (and candy) . There was much activity and Graham was pooped by the end of the day. He fell asleep on his daddy's chest.

Easter Eggs

Graham and I got into the spirit of spring last weekend by coloring some eggs. He usually doesn't like to do any project that seems like a craft, but he really enjoyed coloring eggs.

After we dyed eggs, w went to the annual Easter Egg Hunt madness in Memorial Park. Its always cold and crowded, but we still go. Here Graham and his buddy Milo pose with the Bunny after raiding his candy basket.

Graham was such a water baby last summer-no fear at all and even though he still wore a floaty he would submerge his head when he jumped in. He's a natural. So we are starting some lessons now so that he will be ready for summer. Here he is with some of his buddies. From left, Ruby, Edie, Clyde and Mr. Fish

President's Day weekend

Over the long President's Weekend holiday Liam had to work. All weekend. So we rented an apartment in Brooklyn and Graham, Lucy and I made the best of it. Here are some highlights including the Brooklyn waterfront at sunset, a trip to the dinosaur museum and an awesome visit to the transit museum where Graham got to sit in the driver's seat of a real city bus. A 4 year old boy in heaven!

Freaky February

we've had an unusually warm and snow-free winter this year. last week i managed to get Graham to go for a walk with me & lucille. notice that he's not really even wearing a winter coat.

Shame on me

I've been shamed into updating the blog. I know its been a while and I am not very good about doing it on any regular basis anymore but here's what i've got right now. All these pictures were taken on New Year's day when we went on an ice skating outing. Graham took to ice skates a little better than the last time we tried it, which was a complete disaster. It helped that his Unkie B is a good skater. Graham took quite a shine to his Unkie's girlfriend Veka, seen below. They were inseperable. Graham was very sad when they left.
